Privacy Policy - Speco Access for IOS and Android
Privacy Policy for Speco Access iOS and Android Mobile Application.

Speco Technologies, as the distributor of the application Speco Access for iOS and Android devices, is fully committed to your privacy and therefore provides this as our privacy policy that governs the use of Speco Access.
Please note that Speco Technologies may, at any time and at its discretion, change part of or the entire privacy policy. Any changes made will be noted on this web page. Continued use of the Speco Access iOS and Android application constitutes an acknowledgment of your acceptance of this policy. The date listed at the top of this page will indicate when the latest policy has taken effect.
Speco Access is designed to collect no personal information from an iOS or Android device such as Apple iTunes or Google Play account information. The application will ask for permission to use the following:
– Camera device (for scanning of the QR code)
– Cellular Data (so that Speco Access devices can be accessed using your cellular data. Note that since this will be using the internet, data charges may apply)
During the duration of Speco Access’s existence on an iOS or Android device, the following will be stored in the application itself:
– IP Address of Speco Technologies’ Access Control system OR unique ID of device stored on a P2P server
– Username created at Speco Technologies’ Access Control system
– Password of username created at Speco Technologies’ Access Control system
During the time Speco Access is connected to a Speco Technologies’ Access Control system via the P2P server, the following information will be used:
– The IP address of the Speco Technologies’ Access Control system is saved at the P2P server. This is deleted when Speco Access is terminated.
If Speco Access uses the IP address of the Speco Technologies’ Access Control system for connection, no device information is stored at the IP system.
Personal information is requested, but not required, when entering information about card holders at the Speco Technologies’ Access Control system. This personal information may include:
– First, Middle and Last Name
– Phone numbers (including cell)
– E-mail address
Users with administrator privileges have the ability to modify this information from the Speco Access app.
This information is only used to communicate with card holders. At no time is this information transmitted nor sold to any 3rd party. All information about card holders that are seen on the Speco Access app is either directly from the Speco Technologies’ Access system or from the P2P server that acts as the only go-between from Access system to app.
Speco Technologies may provide information stored at the P2P server to certain law enforcement and government agencies as requested.
